I can't say Cafe Hong Kong gets everything right, or that it's a Hong Kong diner destination, but I'll stand behind this humble—and quite cheap—Pork Chop Sandwich, a mere $3.50 for a sizable fried pork cutlet on Wonder-soft white bread. Small details matter here: bread that's just lightly toasted so it remains soft and pork chop-centric; pork that's relatively moist and free of gristle. It's not intensely seasoned pork, so add a hefty spoonful of the oily chili paste on each table for best results.
