Beurre & Sel, Dorie Greenspan's cookie shop, has some new cookies out for Easter Passover eh let's just call it non-denominational springtime.

On the right there's the Lemon Tucker ($1 each), a chewy gluten free coconut cookie with lemon zest and oil—a brighter, less sweet macaroon, though the force of the citrus may take you by surprise. Down in front is a Lavender-White Chocolate Sable ($14 for 12), a cross between crumbly butter cookie and snappy caramelized white chocolate. The lavender's quite light, all the better to let the white chocolate's subtleties come through.

But our favorite of the lot is the Honey Tea Jammer ($14 for 7), a riff off Dorie's classic cookie with green tea in the base and a subtle honeyed sweetness. It's a lighter spring dessert that doesn't hit you over the head with its seasonality.

All cookies are available at Beurre & Sel's Essex Street Market and La Marqueta locations. The white chocolate sable and honey tea jammer are also available online for national shipping.
