Salt of the Earth Bakery offers a range of baked goods including brownies and mud pies, but cookies ($2 each) are their strongest item. They are generously sized, crisp at the edges and chewy as you near the center, each flavor topped with a different type of salt. A cinnamon-rich Wild Oat (bottom) comes with raisins and Bali Rama Sea Salt while Chocoholic (middle) features chocolate both integrated in the dough and as melty discs folded in, with flaky Maldon salt crystals spinkled on top. Cherry Bomb (top) couples dried tart cherries with dark and white chocolate, also with Maldon salt.
