If you're in Soho, visit the Swarovski Crystal store on Broadway. Walk to the back of the narrow shop and there is Café Kristall. Next to the bar is a glass class filled with number of cakes. The topfentorte is still there, only now it's offered as a slice from a whole cake as opposed to an individual cake. There's also this Chocolate Feuilletine ($7) that is bound to satisfy any chocolate craving. Almond cake base is topped with chocolate ganache and crunchy feuilletine, chocolate sponge cake, plush chocolate mousse, and a side of whipped cream. It's texturally fun with all the crunch and cream, then rich cake. And right in the middle of Soho, who would have thought?
