Sugar Rush: The New Bklyn Blackout by Steve's Ice Cream

It's the bits of chocolate stout cake (baked by Ovenly!) that makes this Brooklyn Blackout ice cream stand out. At first I was expect little cake chunks, but instead you get bits, lots and lots of little bits swirled into a creamy milk chocolate ice cream. (They used to do it with larger pieces of cake.) Each spoonful guarantees a dose of that boozy cake, and the occasional spoonful also captures swirls of a velvety dark chocolate pudding. Like the name, this is straight-up Brooklyn blackout cake...in ice cream form. Easy to covet, even during winter.
