We've gushed about Graindaisy Bakery before; here's a vegetarian sandwich ($7.50) that's just as good as the others we've tried.
Grandaisy sandwich-smiths lightly butter their seven-grain bread before adding thinly-sliced cucumbers, hard-boiled egg, red onion, dill, and capers. It's a lighter sandwich, but the grain-y bread and egg protein keep it substantial enough. Though we didn't get much tangy caper love, the fresh dill and thinly sliced red onions play nicely together, neither one overpowering the other. As far as cold vegetarian sandwiches go, this is a solid pick.
