Birthday Fairies Hurricane Sandy Relief Party

Birthday Fairies, a non-profit organization that provides birthday parties for children in need, is holding their first Sandy relief event, a party for children affected by the Hurricane. Their inaugural event isn't open to the public, but if you want to get involved and help out, visit their website.

Holiday Dinner at Vinegar Hill Sound
Saturday December 15th, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

NYC Celebrity Chef Bake Sale
Saturday December 15th and Sunday December 16th, 10 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Some of the best pastry chefs and bakeries are joining together to host a bake sale to benefit Almondine Bakery, which was very damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Participants include Dominique Ansel, Payard, and Ceci Cela. 85 Water Street, Brooklyn NY; event website
