Sugar Rush: Lemon Bichon at Dominique Ansel Bakery

Dominique's Lemon Bichon ($3.75) is like an apple turnover with fresh lemon curd in place of apples. Devour carefully—the dustings of powdered sugar fly right off. There's plenty of the tart and sweet curd tucked into the pastry, ensuring that you get more than a kiss each in bite. Also keep your eyes peeled for his Pistachio Sticky Buns ($3.75), With buttery folds of a croissant-esque dough and a based of toasty, caramelized pistachios, these sell out early and rightfully so.
