Bisous Ciao may be all about the macarons. But they do offer a one non-macaron treat, and that alone is worth a visit. It's cake. Individually-sized creations so precise they could have come out of the kitchens of La Maison du Chocolat. The cake flavor changes every three to four weeks, and right now it's the Chocoholic ($9). A chocolate savarin base is topped with layers of a classic chocolate sponge, dark chocolate mousse, and a heart of crushed, toasted cacao nibs folded with whipped cream. The layers are all sealed with more of that silky mousse and a single gold leaf. Dig in.
