This Salted Key Lime Pie ($10) is intense. The flavors come as a one-two tart and salty punch. It's only after your tastebuds recover from that initial shock of flavors do you focus on the creamy, cool pie filling. It's a supple custard just firm enough to hold its shape, all set into a graham cracker crust. The key limes (both juice and zest) are tempered with shaved, toasted coconut and a strawberry-rosé sorbet.
Make sure to also try the Blueberry-Nectarine Pie before the end of the season. It's a might fine double crust slice with equal proportions of the tiny sweet berries and nectarine wedges—the accompanying scoop of elderflower frozen yogurt is no afterthought.
