These brownies, all fudgy inside, crisp along the edges, are offered by the square at the recently opened Vegan Divas on 1st Avenue between 74th and 75th. They're made from a base of spelt flour and a handful of non-dairy dark chocolate chips. If you visit in the morning, also look out for breakfast muffins ($3). The subtle, faintly sweet corn and olive oil is my favorite, though the blueberry (pictured) and raspberry-lemon are also a winners if you're craving fruit muffins. They're also doing soft-serve and pressed-to-order organic juices at Vegan Diva's first stand-alone location.
