John Brown's Pulled Pork Sandwich ($8)
Pulled pork from John Brown smokehouse, with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce on white bread.
Rock Shrimp Roll ($12)
Using shrimp instead of lobster allows Hoo to sell a more affordable roll that's "just as delicious." The rolls are tossed with celery, onion, charred scallion, and mayo on a toasted potato roll.
Crispy Crab Cake ($10)
A breaded crab cake topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and Old Bay mayo on a toasted potato roll.
"This is a real casual, daydrinking kind of space."
Oysters ($2 each)
Three varieties available daily, with at least one from each coast. All of Pier NYC's seafood comes from The Lobster Place in Chelsea Market.
Frozen Peach Margarita ($12)
The bar has a limited cocktail, beer, and wine list for now. Hoo is considering opening up to a full bar and adding some specialty microbrews to the list of big name beers.
Chocolate Toffee Brownies ($3) and Cookies ($2.50)
From local baker Alyssa Gangeri of Allycakes.
Red Velvet Whoopie Pie ($3)
Gangeri is also the pastry chef for Riverwalk Bar and Grill, Hoo's other restaurant on the island.
Pier NYC sits on the Western coast of Roosevelt Island, just North of the Queensboro bridge and a minute walk away from the Roosevelt Island F stop.
