Meet the Banana Pot de Crème Soufflé from Dessert Club ChikaLicious, literally a cross between a banana soufflé and pot de crème. They're rolling out new desserts like crazy at this East Village favorite—I go at least once a week and there's always something new on the menu. This soufflé is served hot from the oven with a scoop of green apple sorbet (the same sorbet served with the butterscotch chronic). It's puffy like a proper soufflé, but once you sink your spoon into the, center it's straight up banana pot de crème, a classic, creamy loose custard. If you're in a very banana mood, they also have banana pudding coupling actual banana pudding (most "banana puddings" usually feature vanilla pudding with bananas) with crushed nilla wafers and diced bananas.
