Sugar Rush: Inca Tart at Bosie Tea Parlor

Avocado and banana make an unlikely but intriguing pairing at Bosie Tea Parlor. Meet the Inca Tart ($6.50), where a buttery sweet crust comes lined with dark chocolate. The tart shell is filled with a round of airy banana mousse, so light as to hedge on frothy, and it's capped with a fresh avocado glaze. The bananas meld right in with the chocolate and the avocado lends a gentle savory finish. Unusual, and deliciously so.
