In season now: strawberries, fresh garlic, garlic scapes, spring carrots, radishes, and onions, hakurei turnips, sugar snap peas, fava beans.
In season soon: basil, raspberries, blueberries, field tomatoes.
This week we saw sweet spring varieties of radishes, carrots, onions, and other late winter staples. Also at the market: some of the first outdoor tomatoes of the year, fresh purslane and chamomile, and some good looking red raspberries. Plus carrot nuggets!
