Prima has just two desserts on the dinner menu, both equally simple and beautifully executed. The first is the Mille-Feuille; the second is this Chocolate Mousse ($9). It comes as one voluptuous scoop of dark chocolate mousse made with Valrhona chocolate and dotted in crunchy chocolate pearls. It's not intense as the version at Buvette, but that's for the better—you won't feel the least bit weighed down with this one. Spoon up from the right and you'll catch a vanilla bean speckled creme anglaise. Scoop to left and then you'll capture the mousse with maple syrup—an unconventional pairing that makes you wonder, ahh why didn't I think of that!
