Just for Mother's Day weekend, Dominique Ansel Bakery is offering a Cheese Crate Berry Crumble. It's one magnificent dessert coupling tender brioche (housemade of course) bread pudding layered with buttery almond-topped crumble and a collection of ripe berries. All my favorite things rolled into one? Yes please. Notice the raspberries are piped with raspberry jam à la Ruby Charlotte. Devour as is, or better yet, heat the entire crumble in the oven (the cheese crate is heatproof) and serve warm post-brunch or -dinner, or for an afternoon snack. It's $38 for a whole crumble, which serves 6 to 8 people generously.
