The Science Behind the Hype: Resveratrol in Wine & Chocolate

In this second installment of the New York Academy of Sciences' Locavore's Dilemma series, the topic is red wine and dark chocolate. More specifically, how each contain a chemical called resveratrol that might help prevent cancer. Joseph Baur, PhD, a biomedical research scientist at the University of Pennsylvania will speak, as well as Nick Venditti from Frankly Wines in Tribeca.
