This is nothing short of one of the most memorable food events in New York this year, and it hasn't even happened yet. Music is abundant; Saturday features the funk-driven band the Roots while Sunday kicks it old school with Hall and Oates. Like good food and booze? The 18th Annual Taste of Tribeca

This celebration of the culinary scene in lower Manhattan will feature dishes from more than 70 of the neighborhood's premiere restaurants and chefs, including James Beard Award Best Chef nominees, Marco Canora of Terroir, Kurt Gutenbrunner of Blaue Gans, Marc Murphy of Landmarc, and Marc Forgione. 5th Annual Whole Foods Market New Taste of the Upper West Side: Best of the West

This celebration of the Upper West Side's chefs and restaurants also pays tribute to gourmet great Gael Greene. More than 40 of New York's most popular chefs are serving up delicious dishes. Crafts in Chelsea Hosted by PS11

You can get great local, handmade goods at this event, not to mention all the money goes to PS11 to help them purchase books, supplies, and equipment for the students. There will be a number of food tents including food by The Mighty Balls Cart, Palenque Columbian Arepa Truck, and the Desi Gully Indian Food Cart.
