Slideshow SLIDESHOW: Sips and Bites from the Luckyrice Epicurean Cocktail Feast

We've been talking about the Luckyrice Asian food festival—a week-long series of events with everything from a Hawaiian luau to a night market—for a couple of weeks. Last night marked the first event, the Epicurean Cocktail Feast.

Unlike some events, which feature talented but under-equipped bartenders doing the best they can given the insurmountable odds, last night was a great success. Held in the beautiful atrium and patio of the Bowery Hotel, the feast featured eight different bars slinging cocktails and food as fine as any I've had on their home turf.

On site: An Choi, Booker & Dax, Acme, B Flat, The Beagle, JBird, Madam Geneva, and Macao. Each bar served two drinks along with a small bite of food to pair with them.

Check out the slideshow for a closer look at what was served.
