Kimchi Making With Arirang Kimchi
Saturday October 9th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Victoria Oh of Arirang Kimchi will lead this hands on Kimchi Experience! Each student will learn how to make their own fermented kimchi, and how to customize the flavor to their personal tastes. Hester Street Fair Opening Weekend

It's that time again! The Hester Street Fair debuts for the season this weekend. On Saturday April 28, the Lower East Side's favorite food and craft fair kicks off with an opening day celebration. New York DJ/synth band Bubbles will be playing a fabulous set to accompany the amazing shopping and food vendors on location. NYC Food Blogger Bake Sale

On Saturday, from Arizona to Washington DC, the Great American Bake Sale will be taking place as part of Share Our Strength's mission to encourage Americans to host bake sales. The sales are an effort to support the No Kids Hungry campaign. May Day Sausage Fest Beer Garden Kick-off at Loreley
Saturday April 28, 3 p.m.
May Day is celebrated in parts of Germany with Tanz in Den Mai ("Dance into May") festivities. Special spring beers and sausage platters will be available from April 28 until May 3 during Loreley's 9th Annual Sausage Fest. Five different sausage platters will be offered, featuring German and international style sausages from Schaller & Weber. A week-long celebration of Asian food and culture.
