Last night we checked out the first ever Village Voice's Choice Streets at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex. If you're familiar with Choice Eats, it's pretty much the same format. Though instead of restaurants, Choice Streets is all about street food. 20 food trucks, ranging from veterans like Solber Pupusas to the newest kid on the block, Chinese Mirch, were gathered in one spot to offer the hungry crowd their best treats.
Food truck events may not be a new idea, but having Choice Streets at The Intrepid was pretty cool. You can be munching on the King of Falafel's falafel one minute, and be sitting inside the Concorde the next.
