I love the huge variety of flavors at Doughnut Plant: the square peanut butter and jelly doughnut, the coconut cream, and crème brûlée. And, of course, seasonal flavors like peach and festive holiday numbers like gingerbread and pumpkin. But for an everyday treat? It's the Triple Chocolate Doughnut that I could easily devour for breakfast every morning. It's slightly less intense than the blackout doughnut (which comes with a pudding-like ring of fudge), but just as moist, simply glazed in a layer of chocolate.
For those who visit the Lower East Side Doughnut Plant, take note, they've relocated next door to their original Grand Street location. Same doughnuts, bigger space.
