A tres leches cake ($5.25) made for eating on the go. Whether you call it cake-in-a-cup or a parfait, all you really need is a spoon and a sweet craving. Housemade tres leches cake is soaked in that classic trio of milks: evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream; it meets a fourth form of dairy in the shape of whipped cream. And plenty of it. Fresh and thick, layered into a tall cup alongside slices of the sweetly satisfying sponge cake. They also offer another version that features dark chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream, but if we had to pick between two, tres leches wins in a heartbeat.
