Aside from the hazelnut hot chocolate, it's rare that Otto features a dessert without gelato. So when they do, it's not to be missed. Currently on the menu is Torta Pinza ($8.50), a polenta tart that eats like a cake; it's dense and packed with equal proportions of chopped dried figs, tender pignoli nuts, diced apples and an unmistakeable dose of grappa. Served with an extra helping of the figs on the side, it's heavy and moist in the way of fruitcake (only a really good fruitcake!) and best shared by two.
