I've got a soft spot for the muffins at Corrado Bread And Pastry, a bakery/cafe that really looks more like a corporate chain from the outside. It's the Chocolate-Cream Cheese Muffins I sneak in for, and sometimes, when you come early enough so that the muffins are still ever so slightly warm, it's enough to make a morning. The cream cheese topping is a little browned on top, with a slight crunch, and the muffin is just plain old chocolate, sweet and satisfying; lighter than most muffins, more akin to a cake.
