It's that time of the year again; ,any celebrated Epiphany with Galette des Rois over the weekend, but the holiday continues all the way until this Friday at Brasserie in midtown. Order a whole galette ($28) to go for or little individual ones ($8) served with a scoop of ice cream if you're dining in. Layers upon layers of flaky puff pastry with a sweet, creamy baked almond filling made up of ground almonds, sugar, egg yolk, and plenty of butter. If you get the whole one to go, make sure to heat though in the oven. Fingers crossed you win the lucky slice with la fève tucked inside, and become king for the day!
