Sugar Rush: New Tiramisu Flavors at Dolce Vizio

Dolce Vizio opened in August with all sorts of tiramisu flavors—think Nutella tiramisu with chocolate cream, orange-espresso tiramisu, and colorful trays of mango and raspberry. Don't forget the classic tiramisu, of course, a consistent crowd pleaser.

But they recently introduced two new flavors to the daily lineup. With Pineapple Granola (pictured) fresh pineapple pieces and pineapple juice are whipped with the mascarpone and egg yolks. The ladyfingers are soaked in a potent pineapple sauce before they get layered in with the cream. Add a buttery crown of caramelized granola bits and you're all set. Sink your fork in to capture all the layers at once. A tropical and light departure from the original.

For something more decadent, look for Coffee Caramel tiramisu. It starts with the classic formula, but between the layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and cream are drizzles of a housemade caramel spread. An bonus layer of sweet. It's sealed with a flurry of coconut flakes and more caramel; pair this one with a shot of espresso.
