Fried chicken fans, get ready for "FRIED" at the New York City Wine & Food Festival. At 9:00pm on September 30th, more than a dozen chefs will be getting their fry on, turning out their best birds for you to sample. You'll find hometown favorites like Bruce and Eric Bromberg of the Blue Ribbon Restaurants, Elizabeth Karmel of Hill Country Chicken, and folks from the Red Rooster in Harlem—but there are out-of-town all-stars, too, up from even better fried chicken country, like Andrea Reusing from Chapel Hill's Lantern Restaurant and SE friend John Currence of City Grocery, in from Oxford, Mississippi.
