I might be rushing things a bit, but the cool fall weather has me envisioning apple cider, and then winter... which brings with it all things minty. Hello, Peppermint Chip Gelato at Otto!

Every bite is silky, a lick of cooling fresh peppermint to the tongue. Each spoonful, a creamy shade of white, is studded with irregular shards of chocolate bits. Some melt at the touch of the tongue, and the other, larger ones linger for a bit longer. If there's more room in your stomach (there always should be for Otto's gelato!) the signature and seasonal Olive Oil Copetta currently includes fennel brittle and Kurtzman's incredible concord grape sorbetto—only available for a few weeks each year.
