A new dessert pops up every other month at Dessert Club ChikaLicious in the East Village, so it's always worth another visit. Most recently, they've introduced the Cookies-N-Cream ($5.95), a creation that couples their famous vanilla bean soft serve with a crushed "The Situation Dark" cookie. The cookie is broken into little pieces upon order, mixed with the soft serve in a big container, and spooned into a plastic cup.
It's like the world's best McFlurry—the crushed cookie bits have a mix of crushed salty pretzel, crunchy toffee popcorn, peanut butter chips, and, of course, chocolate all evenly blended into the soft serve. It towers over the tiny plastic cup, so make sure to ask for an extra cup to share, lest it topple over. And you want to get really indulgent, it's only $1 more for a silky pour of hot fudge swirled into the soft serve.
