Sugar Rush: Buñuelos at Soccarat Paella Bar

The Buñuelos ($8) at Soccarat come four to an order, each one a two-bite orb dusted in powdered sugar. Sauces are usually served on the side of a fried dessert for dipping, but the chocolate sauce for these are piped directly into the buñuelo itself—bite with caution, lest you want hot liquid chocolate splattered across your shirt. Straight from the fryer, with a deep golden, crunchy crust, each little bite is both indulgent and satisfying.
