Picking our favorite sandwich at the SE Sandwich Festival is like picking a favorite child. We love them all! No, really. We do. But when we were rounding up the 15 meatballs we love in NYC and came across this one, we knew it was very special.
Chef Andrew Carmellini's delicate, intensely lamb-y little meatballs get plopped onto mini buns that soak up some of the pleasingly meaty-tasting tomato sauce. Add creamy Caprino, an Italian goat's milk cheese, and you've got our favorite meatball sliders in town.
