Sugar Rush: Sweet Loren's Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies

Chocolate chip seems to be the most popular, but I much prefer the chewy Oatmeal Cranberry Cookie from Sweet Loren's. The cookie dough is sold frozen by the tub for $8.99, and each tube makes 16 cookies. Just defrost, scoop and bake. I served them as dessert for a recent dinner party, and our group of four wiped out the whole tray in 15 minutes flat. They're just crisp enough on the outside, and chewy on the inside, a hearty, easy to love cookie with rolled oats, dried cranberries and shredded coconut. In place of butter Sweet Loren's uses coconut oil, and instead of white or brown sugar, sucanat. The best part? The cookies are not overly sweet, and they've got a touch of sea salt.
