Ice Cream Sandwiches from the Coolhaus truck, a recent newcomer from Los Angeles, are $5 each and easily shared between two. Mix and match cookie and ice cream flavors among the many offerings which change daily. You'll find cookies like maple waffle white chocolate, ginger molasses, and chocolate chip. Ice cream runs from the classics to more unusual creations, such as horchata, olive oil with rosemary, and pistachio-black truffle.

My personal favorite is a combo of the Red Velvet Cookie and the Dirty Mint Chip ice cream. The cookie is soft enough so that it easily yields to the bite without ice cream oozing out the side, but still crisp enough to maintain its integrity. As for the mint ice cream—it's good enough to order alone (they do sell by the scoop and pint!), pure and intensely mint in flavor, studded with dark chocolate chips and torn fresh mint leaves. Did I mention that the wrapper, made of rice paper, is edible as well? (Bonus points in order for bringing back fond memories of Tomoe Ame Rice Candy.)
