Whimsy & Spice's Honey-Lavender Shortbread is sold in packs of six, each shortbread a classy three-biter measuring a perfect two-inches in diameter. It comes very close to the ideal shortbread in that it's neither overly buttery nor too heavy with the flower. Butter is good, but in shortbread you want and need balance. You get this here with the honey and lavender coming in equal degree, not competing but complimenting one another. No surprise cookie, nothing that will astound, but it's the classics done well that win in the long run.
