Mari's New York is best known for brownies, tiny and indulgent squares of dark chocolate; but those who venture into her shop inside Limelight Market would be wise to try her Caramel Krispies ($4). Salted caramel is swirled with melted marshmallows, creating what may be the best Rice Krispies Treat I've ever had. A surface dip in dark chocolate and sprinkles of Maldon adds a touch of luxury. Small things really do make all the difference.

Also: Mari's L'Orange Brownies ($2.50) infuse orange liqueur and plenty of fresh orange zest into her classic flavors; they aren't to be missed. They're one of her few seasonal brownies and will be available until the end of the month.
