The Coconut Marshmallow Logs from ChikaLicious have been replaced with something even better. The marshmallows are now sold by the cube, a set of eight pieces of $5.95. Like everything at ChikaLicious, these are adorable, from the light pastel shade to the roll in toasted, flaked coconut. Each color represents a different, very subtle flavor: strawberry, kiwi, vanilla, and lemon. Texturally, they're the lightest marshmallows I've had in the city, the texture somewhere between fluffy and foamy.
There's also a new plated dessert on the menu—the Butterscotch Chronic ($5.95), green apple sorbet with butterscotch panna cotta and frosted pecans. The panna cotta, with a spoonful of brown sugar syrup dripping down the top, is the highlight of this dessert—incredibly velvety, thanks to a heavy hand with the cream. The tart green apple sorbet has long been one of my favorites on the menu and can also be ordered separately by the cup or pint.
