At Lulu Cake Boutique, the Red Velvet Twinkie is their most popular confection, but there's no shame in loving them all. Even if it means eating three Twinkie flavors in one sitting to decide which is best. Each is wonderful in its own way, appropriately priced at $3. There's a classic yellow cake, filled with a fluffy vanilla buttercream and dipped in dark chocolate; the red velvet is equally moist, with a sweet whipped cream cheese filling and a white chocolate shell. But if I had to pick just one, it'd be the Blackout Twinkie. It'll win over any chocolate fan—dark chocolate, four times. A fudgy chocolate cake, a filling of rich dark chocolate pudding, the cake dipped in a dark chocolate shell, and then rolled in chocolate cake crumb.

I confess that I've had this one for breakfast on multiple occasions. Apparently Lulu also makes a Lemon Twinkie filled with lemon curd—but I've yet to see it available on my dozen or so visits to the bakery.
