Ed Levine Celebrates Valentine's Day Eve in New York
For many people Valentine's Day poses all sorts of problems. There's the pressure of finding the right restaurant, and swallowing hard to pay the inflated menu prices. Of if you're staying in, cooking the perfect meal. Then there are the flowers and chocolate issues. The whole day is a domestic disturbance waiting to happen.
But in the Bijur-Levine household we've figured out how to make Valentine's Day work. How? We celebrate the day before. We call it Valentine's Day Eve.
The flowers are cheaper. Regular menu prices are the order of the day. No waiting in long lines for flowers and chocolate. No ridiculous expectations that can't ever be met. And I've got my meals all mapped out, for a day that I sure think will make Vicky happy.
