A Sandwich A Day: BBQ Pulled Pork Panino from Indian Road Cafe
In this great city of ours, one could eat a different sandwich every day of the year—so that's what we'll do. Here's A Sandwich a Day, our daily look at sandwiches around New York. Got a sandwich we should check out? Let us know. —The Mgmt.

If there's a pulled pork sandwich on a menu, I'm going to get it. The BBQ Pulled Pork Panino($10) from Indian Road Cafe in Inwood oozes with apple-chipotle barbecue sauce, but doesn't drench the meat; although the sauce is very faintly spicy, it's the sweetness of the pulled pork that has me getting this sandwich over and over again. The ciabatta bread has a crunch when bitten into; the pork is always tender and juicy, and is nicely accented by the melted fontina cheese. It's a sandwich that is meant to be savored.
