teapigs doesn't work with tea bags, but "tea temples," little mesh pyramids with whole leaf tea that make all the difference when preparing tea in an environment where loose leaf tea isn't the most practical. Their Honeybush and Rooibos is an excellent blend for the winter, especially when you've got chills or feel a sore throat coming on. Both ingredients are native South African shrubs, and the honey imparts a beautiful, mellow sweet scent. Rooibos is also known as "red bush," and offers a gentle nutty and almost earthy flavor. This tea does best plain or with a pinch of sugar—no milk needed for this one. 15 "tea temples" to a bag for $8.99.
