Slideshow SLIDESHOW: SWEET 2010: The Top Five Desserts

Saturday night was nothing but a decadent sugarfest at SWEET, now in its third year running. (Look back on 2008 and 2009, if these aren't enough sweets for you!) This year brought old favorites along with new participants—like Salted Caramel Apple Pies from Four & Twenty Blackbirds, served by the mini-slab, finally a fork-free pie affair. We spotted Bee Desserts with their signature honey cakes and cupcakes from both Butter Lane and Billy's Bakery. Clinton Street Baking offered pear upside down cakes, gooey and hot out of the oven, finished with pecan ice cream, while Gramercy Tavern presented classic Mint Chocolate Brownies, and Gotham Bar and Grill doled out Cranberry-Pumpkin Crepes.

At Gilt, Chocolate Liege Waffles were paired with milk chocolate sorbet and cubes of caramel-topped flan, and Colicchio and Sons wooed us with ovals of Sweet Potato Cheesecake, pickled cranberries, and marshmallows torched on the spot. But with so many options, you can't love everything equally. And with that, we present our five favorite desserts from the evening.
