A Sandwich A Day: 'Southern' BLT at FoodParc
In this great city of ours, one could eat a different sandwich every day of the year—so that's what we'll do. Here's A Sandwich a Day, our daily look at sandwiches around New York. Got a sandwich we should check out? Let us know. —The Mgmt.

Of everything we tried at FoodParc, the wacky upscale modern food court Ed reviewed last week, I've found myself thinking back to the 'Southern' BLT most often. The 3Bs stand, whose nearly every dish incorporates bacon, has three different BLTs, but this was by far my favorite—the potato-onion roll with just enough chew, fried green tomatoes juicy and just a little sweet, and incomparable thick-cut Nueske's bacon. Condiments of peach jam and chipotle mayo add something sweet and spicy without obscuring the main ingredients. One of the better BLTs I've had recently, no question.
