As soon as I walk in the Ronnybrook Milk Bar in Chelsea Market, I feel my bones getting stronger. This calcium-enriched dairy haven has bottled milks, infused milks, ice cream shakes, and something called a Milk Cocktail (comes in either Moocachino or Choco-latte. Sign me up.) They also have sandwiches, including the tidy Pressed Mozzarella with mild pesto, tomato, basil, and a leaf-thin slice of roast eggplant. The olive panini has a nice outside crunch and a delicately soft crumb, although there's never enough fine, creamy mozzarella. The eggplant adds depth and substance, but I wanted a bit more bite from the pesto. Who minds garlic breath when there are so many drinks for immediate remedy?
