Last month we found out the five finalists for this year's Vendy Awards, which will be held on Governor's Island on September 25. Yesterday they announced the five finalists for a second category honoring the dessert-centric vendors:

• Big Gay Ice Cream Truck: Doug Quint and Bryan Petroff
• Dessert Truck: Jerome Chang
• Guerrilla Ice Cream: Ethan Frisch and Ori Zohar
• Kelvin Natural Slush Co.: Alex Rein
• Long Tzi Tang ("Dragon Beard Candy")

Those who scored tickets to the all-afternoon eating fest of joy (which is now sold-out!) will get to vote for their favorite vendor.
