S&C is always a standard for me when I visit the Flushing Mall. First of all, it's the best way to balance out all the scorching hot soups, noodles, and rice plates you'll be eating elsewhere.

Second of all, it's just a fun experience. If you've never tried Taiwanese-style shaved ice, give it a go here by either ordering their mixed bean topping or pointing to toppings a la carte. (You can't go wrong with some combo of red beans, peanuts, tapioca pearls, and beans of some other kind. Be sure to add condensed milk if there is any.) Nothing like refreshing, cold shaved ice.
