Slideshow: We Ate at Pop-Tarts World in Times Square

Pop-Tarts Sushi, $2.29 for four
Pop-Tarts Sushi, $2.29 for four
Mashed-up wildberry, raspberry, and blueberry Pop-Tarts wrapped in a fruit roll-up. I don't know how this could be so much worse than the sum of its parts, but it was. Chalky and powdery and, frankly, vile. The extra fruit filling, maybe?

Edibility, 1-10: 0. I physically could not bring myself to swallow.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 1, just mash and roll—but we'd recommend Peepshi over these any day.

Wild Berry Buckle Bar, $4.99
Wild Berry Buckle Bar, $4.99
While the crumb topping is pretty inoffensive, the massive amounts of fake-tasting Pop-Tart Jam—blueberry, raspberry, and Wild Berry—take over.

Edibility, 1-10: 2. Please, please don't eat this.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 7. Seems like you'd have to scrape out Pop-Tart jam for the extra layers yourself… if you'd want to, that is.

Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Blondie, $3.99
Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Blondie, $3.99
A soft, frankly underbaked peanut butter blondie isn't terrible, and it's studded with chocolate chips in addition to chocolate Pop-Tarts.

Edibility, 1-10: 4

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 3. A peanut buttery blondie, some chocolate, and you're good to go. Crushed-up Pop-Tarts, too, but it'd be better without.

Caramel Green Apple Bars, $4.79
Caramel Green Apple Bars, $4.79
The only flavor of Pop-Tart I'll eat willingly is the brown sugar cinnamon—I find oversweetened cinnamon far more palatable than oversweetened fake fruit. The cinnamon genre of sweets were definitely the most edible of the bunch: sure, the apples were syrupy and the whole thing too sweet, but it's better than plenty of packaged apple-cinnamon desserts out there. And the oat crumble was pretty decent.

Edibility, 1-10: 5. Wouldn't order it, but took a second bite without regret.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 5. Just toss some Pop-Tart pieces onto a crumble.

Sticky Cinna Munchies, $4.39
Sticky Cinna Munchies, $4.39
Also falls into the "not terrible" camp: cinnamon roll dough with little cinnamon Pop-Tart bits and lots of icing on top. In fact, if you're a Cinnabon fan, you'll probably quite enjoy this.

Edibility, 1-10: 5. If you've got the sugar tolerance, you might even like it.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 6. The brown sugar cinnamon Pop-Tarts are integrated pretty well.

Chunky Chocolate Chipper, $2.99
Chunky Chocolate Chipper, $2.99
A dry, if not terrible, chocolate chip cookie, studded with cookie dough and chocolate fudge Pop-Tart bits.

Edibility, 1-10: 4. There's only so bad a chocolate chip cookie can be, though I wouldn't eat this again.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 2. Pop-Tart bits in the batter, you're done.

Peach Blueberry Cobbler, $4.99
Peach Blueberry Cobbler, $4.99
Peaches with a vaguely Pop-Tarty tasting crust, blueberry muffin and frosted blueberry flavored.

Edibility, 1-10: 3. Syrupy peaches, oversweet filling, all kinds of wrong.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 4

Grape Jam-Wich, $2.99
Grape Jam-Wich, $2.99
Grape Pop-Tarts sandwiching PB and banana.

Edibility, 1-10: 1. Miraculously, it wasn't the grape filling that made this so vile—it was an overripe banana whose cloying sweetness, when mashed up with the Pop-Tart, nearly made me gag.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 1. And in fairness, some kids would love this.

S'More Stix, $1.99
S'More Stix, $1.99
Chocolate-covered marshmallows with S'More Pop-Tart bits. Kinda difficult to eat.

Edibility, 1-10: 4. Nothing hard to choke down, but it's unwieldy and certainly not S'More-tasting in the slightest.

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10: 2

Pop-Tarts Granola Bars, $2.19
Pop-Tarts Granola Bars, $2.19
A pretty okay granola bar, tasting of oats and honey, until it's interrupted by cherry Pop-Tart jam.

Edibility, 1-10: 5

Difficulty of recreating it, 1-10:3
