After eating plenty of chewy, thicker-skinned fries, Nice Matin's delicate frites were a pleasant change of pace. Thin-cut and crispy, they had a lighter skin flecked with salt, but still plenty of golden color and flavor. Despite having eaten lunch, I couldn't help but finish half the basket, especially when a waiter brought over a dish of garlic aioli. Some things are just too good to pass up.
