TGI Fry-Day: French Fries at Maoz
Who doesn't love french fries? We've long been looking for New York's best, and decided that the city's fries deserved more than a post—they needed a column of their own. Here's TGI Fry-Day, your weekly dose of deliciousness. Got a nomination? Let us know. —The Mgmt.

Maoz is the master of deep-frying, as we've already seen with their falafel. The Belgian fries might not be the healthiest side dish (sweet potato fries and soup are the other options) but they are golden perfection. The skin-on sticks, which come to the city's five locations frozen and with a flour coating, have just the right ratio of crisp exterior to fluffy center, and, better yet, serve as more vehicle for the self-serve sauces. Who knew tahini went so well with fried potatoes?
